Concept analysis of the spirituality

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore and to clarify the concept of spirituality so that we can gain clear understandings of spiritual, nursing intervention that will improve spiritual well-being of patients. It was done based on Walker and Avant(1995) concept analysis framework.
In the study, "Connectedness" and "Integration" emerged as the critical attributes of spirituality. The first critical attribute, "Connectedness", is defined as the connection with self, other, nature, and God. The second critical attribute, "Integration", unifies the mind, body, and spirit of the human being.
It was noted that many people consider the spirit as an inherent attributes of humane being so the antecedents of the spirituality does not exist.
The consequences of the study were "self - transcendence", "Purpose and Meaning in life" and "Spiritual Wellbeing".
